The drawbacks of standard shipping services

Most parcel delivery services offer insurance covering amounts of several thousand euros. However, in most cases, these policies exclude watches and jewellery, which are considered too high-risk.

This means that the sender pays for insurance, but if something goes wrong, the policy does not apply and no compensation is paid.

Even with insurance, parcels do not receive special handling and are often entrusted to subcontractors, which are less reliable and more prone to parcel theft or loss.

Secure shipping

Your watch, protected at every step

We send you everything you need: simply pack your watch, drop it off at La Poste and track its journey to our workshop.

   You receive a box, a secure envelope, a pre-filled shipping form and step-by-step instructions.

   Place your watch in its box, include the signed quotation, then seal the envelope.

   Simply take the envelope and the pre-filled shipping form to your post office.

   Track your parcel. When it arrives, we send you an intake report and photos.

Our secure shipping solution

Since 2014, we have offered the same secure shipping service for sending and returning watches. It uses a service dedicated to shipping watches and jewellery, operated by La Poste and used by professionals for decades: declared-value shipping (Valeur Déclarée).

This shipping method avoids the issues described above by using a dedicated transport service without subcontractors. Parcels travel from safe to safe, sealed in a special tamper-proof envelope.

You can choose insurance cover of up to €5,000. If you need a higher amount, we can discuss suitable options with you.

The recipient must show proof of identity when the parcel is delivered.

Beyond the insurance cover, the main strength of this solution is its exceptional reliability. Watches often have sentimental value that is just as important as their financial value. That is why ensuring a safe journey matters far more than offering compensation if something goes wrong.

Secure kit: contents and instructions

Step 1 - Receiving your kit:

Once you agree to proceed, we send you a kit containing:

• A secure, sealable envelope,
• A watch box,
• A shipping form pre-filled with the sender and recipient addresses,
• Detailed step-by-step instructions.

Step 2 - Sending your watch:

Once the kit arrives in your letterbox, simply:

• Place your watch in the box,
• Place the box in the secure envelope,
• Include the signed quotation in the secure envelope,
• Seal the envelope (it is very simple),
• Take the envelope and the pre-filled shipping form to your post office.

Step 3 - Tracking your shipment:

All shipments are tracked, so you can see where your watch is at every stage of its journey.

Step 4 - Receiving your watch:

As soon as your watch arrives, we send you an intake report and photos confirming its safe arrival and documenting its condition.
